AMEK’s HOME911 Joins IMACC Network

AMEK’s HOME911 emergency home restoration division has been selected to join the Independent Mitigation and Cleaning/Conservation’s list of verified, screened contractors available to home insurance industry adjusters and agents.

The list offers home insurance professionals local, reliable contractors to provide their clients home repair and restoration services in the case of fire damage, storm repair or water damage.

“IMACC is the nation’s largest network of independent restoration contractors, all carefully selected based on their verified reputations as highly qualified, ethical quality leaders in your community,” according to the organization’s website.

“Every IMACC contractor is properly insured, licensed, and independently certified as an expert by the most respected authorities in the restoration business.”

Among the requirements to be part of the IMACC home restoration contractor network:

  • The company “perform, provide and maintain” a comprehensive criminal background check on all employees.
  • Only uniformed employees carrying photo employee ID badges are sent to a fire-, storm- or water-damage work site.
  • Front-line employees be professionally certified, not just the company owner or high-level manager.
  • A 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week phone hotline be maintained.
  • That proper licenses and insurance are current.
  • 5 Yr workmanship warranty

“The certification validates the hard work of our staff,” said AMEK CEO Andrew Schmidt. “We’re proud to be available to insurance adjusters and agents to help their clients recover from damaging events caused by fire, storm or water.”
